I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
7.7 OPTICAL DISKS
Optical storage systems offer (practically) unlimited data storage at a cost that is competitive with tape. Optical disks come in a number of formats, the most popular format being the ubiquitous CD-ROM (compact disc read-only memory), which can hold more than 0.5GB of data. CD-ROMs are a read-only medium, making them ideal for software and data distribution.
