I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Proper exposure technique—acceptable shadow and highlight detail—is the prerequisite to the process of transforming ideas into photographs. However, having the light match the subject is also essential to make a good photograph, and this is where the art of photography comes to the fore. Although digital imaging software offers numerous corrections tools, it is preferable to make original digital and analog exposures as accurately as possible to avoid compromising image quality.
