I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Introduction
In Chapter 4, you learned a good deal about using the various classes in the System::Xml namespace in order to work with and manipulate XML documents. In Chapters 6 and 7, you were exposed to quite a bit of ADO.NET—with the focus on the topics most likely to impact and interest MFC developers. The fact that four of this book's eleven chapters involve either XML or ADO.NET is definitely not a coincidence, as Microsoft views XML and ADO.NET as two of the cornerstone technologies for the future of .NET and data access in general. Therefore, since you've already seen how to use these technologies independently, the only task left at this point regarding using XML and ADO.NET is learning how to move easily from one format to the other. ...
