In 2001, I wrote a book called Fresh Styles for Web Designers: Eye Candy from the Underground. At the time, the dot-com bubble was still relatively intact, bandwidth had increased enough to make Macromedia Flash a viable web design option, and wars were raging in the web design community over which best practices would prevail.
