CHAPTER SUMMARY
In this chapter, you learned that security is much more than a way to keep data secret; it is an integral business driver for any organization. BCP and DRP readiness ensures that an organization can perform its primary business functions, even in the event of a disaster, and that it will do so by protecting all of its assets, including its data. A sound security infrastructure provides the assurance that the organization has employed the necessary controls to comply with all necessary laws, regulations, and other security requirements.
