Copying data between buckets using the web console

The console permits the copying (and moving) of files from one bucket to another. The steps are similar, but let us look at how the copy will work:

1. Navigate to the object you want to copy.
2. Click the more options button (three vertical dots) associated with the object. Click Copy:

3. Select the destination for the copied object and the name for the copied object. Click and then click Copy. Note that we can use permissions from either the source or the destination:
