Google Sites is really a wiki, even though Google does everything it can to hide that fact from its users. You may not have ever edited a wiki, but most web users have at least read a wiki: Wikipedia, the largest wiki in the world (http://en.wikipedia.org for those of you who haven’t been there). A wiki is essentially a website that can easily be edited by nontechnical people, and that’s pretty much what Google Sites is. In the spirit of reducing tech-speak for a general audience, however, Google hides the fact that Sites is a wiki—but it is.
