I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Modern military establishments qualify as complex organizations irrespective of size. This becomes evident when one considers the diversity of skills and specialties currently represented in the armed forces and the variety of tasks they may be called on to perform. As a consequence, military organizations share many of the problems of other organizations of comparable complexity. Discussion of military organizations as a distinct category, however, is justified on the grounds that both the tasks of the armed forces and the use of violent means create features unique to the military establishment.
