Convolution is a special kind of mathematical operation that involves the multiplication of two functions, f and g, to produce a new modified function ( f * g). For example, the convolution between an image (let's say function f) with a filter function, g, will produce a new version of the image.
We just discussed filters, so let's try to understand what filters are.
