I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Do not reinvent the wheel
JavaScript community is very generous when it comes to open source software and projects. Leverage them; do not rewrite something that is already available someplace else. It is not worth the time and effort to rewrite some of the community-tested software that is freely available. If a software does only 90% of what you need, consider contributing the remaining 10% of that functionality yourself to the open source project.
