Summary

In this chapter, we took a rather orthodox approach to understanding trees as data structures, where we deviated from the standard process of learning about a tree and implementing its methods. We instead took some real-world example and implemented the trees as we see fit, based on the use case at hand. This will be the case where you are provided the data and are challenged to implement it in a generic way to expand the use cases. In the next chapter, we will expand this approach and take it one step further, where we will note how it expands into graph theory.
