I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Working with R Markdown
The following steps are used to start with R Markdown:
- Open RStudio IDE
- Install the respective packages needed
- Create a new R Markdown document as follows: select the Menu option by navigating to File | New File | R Markdown
- The following screenshot shows the lookup of the required Markdown page:
The attributes shown in the preceding screenshot are as follows:
- Title: Holds the title name
- Output: The kind of output needed
This is the sample R Markdown document that can be used for further authoring of HTML, PDF, and the respective MS Word documents.
