It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Layers
Layers are made up of geometric elements and the requisite statistical transformations. Layers include geometric objects (geoms) data, which actually represents the plot with the help of points, lines, polygons, and more. The best demonstration is by binning and counting the observations to create the specific histogram for summarizing the 2D relationship of a specific linear model.
