It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
The Runtime – Closures and Prototypes
In the previous chapter, we learned about certain aspects of the TypeScript/JavaScript runtime that will help us to understand the implementation of some functional programming techniques in upcoming chapters. In this chapter, we are going to explore two more aspects of the TypeScript/JavaScript runtime:
- Prototypes
- Closures
After exploring these two concepts, we will finally be ready to delve into the implementation and application of the main functional programming techniques.
