I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Getting started with Rkt
The virtual machine is ready to go, just log in and the most important utility is available at your service is rkt. There is no daemon involved!
Execute the following:
rkt version
This will enable you to find out a little bit more about rkt:
Like systemd-nspawn, there is no such a thing as a repository with images. If you need images, create your own. Besides creating your own, it's very happy running containers from others, such as Docker. The developers even created a website, https://quay.io/, to make conversions very easy. Let's use that website to create our first container. Execute the following:
sudo rkt run ...
