It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
In-depth analysis of Microsoft deep learning tools
Microsoft has brought out extensive new deep learning toolkits which can be utilized to speed up advances in areas like text analysis, speech/voice recognition, and image classification by applying the cognitive toolkit known as CNTK, which can be run on-premise or in Azure GPU instances. The Azure Cognitive toolkit has support for binding to BrainScript and Python (versions 2.7, 3.5, and 3.6 at the time of writing), C++, and the .NET managed C# platform.
