Notification
Once the device is registered with the backend service and the notification hub, the backend service can send notifications using the PNS handle of the device that's targeting a specific platform. With this type of notification, the backend server should identify what is the target platform, prepare a notification message using the target platform's schema, and finally send the notification message to the given handle.
Another approach for sending notifications to users is to use notification tags. A specific user tag can be used with an associated template to target multiple platforms.
