Testing the Lambda function

We can now check whether our function responds properly. To do this, we must create a test in the Lambda function's dashboard by going through these steps:

1. On the Lambda function page for the function that we created in the previous sections, at the top right, click on Test.
2. A dialog box will appear with the options to write a new test or use an existing one. Choose the option to Create new test event.
3. In the Event template, make that sure Hello World is selected.
4. Next, provide the Event name of directiveDiscovery.
5. Enter the following JSON into the editor:
