You might have made some huge investments in Windows Forms that you’re required to reuse in WPF. This is one reason to use interoperability. Another reason is to use controls from Windows Forms that don’t have a WPF counterpart. As of this writing, the only situation in which you might want to use Windows Forms to replace nonexistent counterparts is for the FolderBrowserDialog control. Except in this situation, I strongly recommend that you not use Windows Forms interoperability.
