Chapter 5. ICSF support for CPACF,
PCIXCC, and PCICA
In this chapter we describe an overview of the installation of the PCIXCC and
PCICA cards and the initialization and setup steps to be performed by the
customer to use the installed PCIXCC/PCICA cards. We also describe the new
CP Assist for Cryptographic Functions (CPACF) feature, which requires
Operating System updates and functional changes in ICSF.
The goal is to make the installation of the PCIXCC and PCICA cards concurrent
