The WebSphere Payment Manager or Payment Gateway utilization of hardware
cryptography for the SET protocol is left to the user to decide, via a parameter in
the SET configuration table (Payment Manager) or an environment variable
(Payment Gateway).
Note that for the Payment Gateway, hardware cryptography support is required
to get the SET gateway certification from the major card associations (Visa and
MasterCard).
