I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Removing a Horizon Connection Server
To remove a functioning Horizon Connection Server from your environment, perform the following steps:
- Open the Windows Programs and Features control panel on the target Connection Server.
- Uninstall the VMware Horizon 7 Connection Server software.
- Uninstall the AD LDS Instance VMwareVDMDS software.
- Reboot the server to complete the removal of the Connection Server software.
When performed on a functioning Horizon Connection Server this procedure automatically removes the server from the Pod-wide AD LDS instance, which means that the procedure described in the previous section to forcibly remove the non-functional server from AD LDS is not required.
