Chapter 11. Node-Based Texturing
LightWave 3D has always had a powerful texture editor. In recent years, the team at NewTek has even brought this power and ease of surfacing to LightWave Modeler. With LightWave v9, you have another option for creating surfaces that can take you far beyond what the original Surface Editor is capable of. This new addition to LightWave is called the Node Editor. You’ll find it in LightWave Layout’s Surface Editor panel; just click the Node Editor button to activate it.
