About the Author
Before I entered the glamorous and fascinating world of 3D animation, I worked in a not-as-much-fun world of video production. After graduating college with a Bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism, I promptly went to work for a very small CBS affiliate. If your idea of experience is standing in the center of Indiana with a 70-pound camera on your shoulder in the 20-degree Midwest cold, then I’ve got the referral!
For me, I wanted more, and moved up to a program manager position for a large cable television outfit. There, I discovered 3D animation via NewTek’s LightWave 3D and an Amiga computer.
