I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
9The Next Level: Advanced Features and Fine-Tuning
Once the basic functions and features of the online event platform have been mastered, the next step is to learn the secrets for using more advanced tools such as webcams and multimedia. This also includes learning the tricks to managing breakouts and helping participants work in small groups so that these activities don’t fail due to technology glitches and misunderstandings.
Webcams, multimedia files, and breakouts are not required to run a successful virtual event. In fact, think about the last webinar or online training you attended. Did the organizers introduce themselves through their webcams or use any of those features to deliver the presentation or to conduct an activity? Perhaps they ...
