Chapter 9. EEM-Based Deployment Models
In the Multiple Spanning Tree (MST)-based solutions described in Chapter 8, “MST-Based Deployment Models,” redundant access to Virtual Private LAN Service (VPLS) nodes is achieved via the use of Spanning Tree Protocol (STP) to manage the state of links that connect aggregation switches toward the VPLS node, the Network-facing Provider Edge (N-PE).
