I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
About the Authors
Wes Simpson is president and founder of Telecom Product Consulting, an independent consulting firm that focuses on helping companies develop and market video and telecommunications products. He is a frequent speaker and analyst for the video transport marketplace. In the past five years he has spoken at IBC, NAB, Broad-castAsia, SMPTE, VidTrans, and a number of other conferences. Wes is author of the well-received book “Video Over IP: A Practical User's Guide to Technologies and Applications,” 2nd edition published by Focal Press in 2008.
