Chapter 6 IS-95 CDMA Air Interface
6.1 Introduction
This chapter provides a high-level description of the IS-95 CDMA air interface. The intent of this chapter is to lay a foundation for the system details given in chapters 7–11. We describe important aspects of the forward link (base station to mobile) and reverse link (mobile to base station) and include modulation parameters for the channels.
6.2 TIA IS-95 CDMA System
