Virtual procedures
Virtual procedures in JBoss data virtualization help in building a custom function to execute complex data processing with non-proprietary features, as in stored procedures in Rational Database Management Systems. Virtual procedures are written in a language similar to SQL, called JDV procedural language. Virtual procedures take zeros or many input parameters, and return a result set type.
