Chapter 5Regression, Random Coefficients, and Multilevel Models
This chapter introduces the first models with more complex covariance structures. That is, the various error terms are not necessarily independent from one another but have some covariance between them. A consequence of this complexity is that these models can only be fit using the Mixed Model personality in JMP Pro. However, we will hope to show that a “complex” model need not be difficult or confusing.
