I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Much in the world and my life has changed since the first edition of this book was published in 2011. Though some things haven’t. I remain eternally grateful to my friends and colleagues at The PSC for their inspiration, patience and support over 17 years and counting. I’m pleased to be working again with Pearson after a gap of 10 years and will always be thankful for the break they gave me with my first commission (the first edition of this book). And I still owe so much to my friends and family. Carol, now my wife, makes everything possible and we are blessed with our two children.
