I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Installing Marathon
Marathon is similar to traditional init systems. Here, for Mesos, it is a that helps in launching long applications.
Go to the Marathon tab. We can install it by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install marathon
And that's it, we are done with installing marathon. Perform this for the other server as well.
You can see the status as FAILURE, which is a good sign, remember? We will start the services later on:
