It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Persistent Volumes
The Mesos agent component, containerizer, is responsible for running the tasks/services within the containers. This avails you with lot of benefits, from isolating a task from the other running tasks for avoiding any conflicts between them to controlling the overall task's resource usage programmatically.
