After configuration, a transition is scheduled. It may start running right away or wait until the previous transition finishes. If a delay is configured, it will also have to wait until the delay is over.
When a transition finally starts, it will call its interpolators at each animation frame. Interpolators are initialized with zero in the first frame. In subsequent frames, they are called with interpolated values that are transformed by the easing function. In the last frame, the interpolators are called with one, and the transition ends. Events are emitted during the start and end frames. The following diagram illustrates the life cycle of a single transition:
