Chapter 9. Power Fx: A Low-Code Language
In the previous chapters, you have learned about various techniques and components to design Power Apps-based business applications. You always start with no-code components to build your application. If that doesn’t fit your requirements, then you can move to pro-code components for writing JavaScript and C# code to extend the built-in capabilities of the applications. Sometimes, writing code is one of the major pain points for organizations because it makes them dependent on professional developers and technical folks for app development, which means it can take a lot of time to design the end-to-end business solution.
With the growing demand for low-code, no-code application development platforms, so that anyone in an organization can design an application and write business logic without having prior knowledge of any programming language, Microsoft introduced a new low-code programming language called Microsoft Power Fx, as shown in Figure 9-1.
