Matrix transforms and decomposition are important issues in matrix analysis. Normally a certain transformation can be introduced to convert a matrix into other easy-to-manipulate formats. Similarity transform is one of the most commonly used transformation methods. In Section 4.1, the concept and properties of the matrix similarity transform are introduced.
