Linear algebra is the most widely used mathematical modeling tool in science and technology. In this chapter, linear algebra applications are introduced. In Section 7.1, modeling and solutions of linear equations in certain applications are presented. Examples are used to show the applications in electric network analysis, structural analysis, and chemical reaction equation balancing.
