It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

We’ve covered many commands and capabilities of the Terminal and the shell. Nevertheless, we’ve just scratched the surface. OS X includes over 1,000 commands that can be run in the Terminal, and thousands more can be downloaded and installed.
