I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Bantam’s original machine, the Othermill, was
primarily designed to make PCBs. Their new CNC
mill, however, steps up to get into a bit tougher
work. Of course it can still do the soft stuff like
plastics and wax, but it’s also capable of chewing
through aluminum and brass. Sized to fit on a
bench, the fully enclosed system would make
sense in a small prototype shop or makerspace.
Of all the mills in this size and price range, this
one is currently the beefiest, with thick guide rails
and leadscrews providing great stability.
