I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Summary
In this chapter, we learned about dashboards, which are a special type of document that displays data and summarizes all the key metrics for business use; panels, holders that group several elements such as selectors, lines, images, grid/graph objects, and so on; panel stacks, which are groups of panels; selectors, which provide interactivity to the user and let them flip between the panels of the panel stack; graphs and charts, which are diagrammatical representations of sets of data; widgets, which are another way of visualizing data, combined with rich interactivity for users; and visualization techniques, which provide the user with the ability to create quick, interactive dashboards.
