5. Project Activity Duration Analysis
5.1 Introduction
As the project manager develops a plan of work that will be required to accomplish a deliverable, she determines the specific work activities and resources necessary and then must analyze how long it will take to complete each activity. This is called activity duration analysis. The project manager should have enough information to determine what type of work and how many tasks will be required at each work activity so she can determine the overall duration of each activity.
