When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Checking that the file we have downloaded is the correct one
This is actually the most important part of our test. Being able to download a file, or even actually downloading one, does not prove that you have the correct file.
So how do we prove that we have the correct one? Well, the file that we have downloaded is a PDF file, so maybe we need to write some code that can read in a PDF file. We could then scan all of the text in the file and see if it is correct.
How do we know that the text is correct? Well we could put all of the text of a PDF file into our test, but that's a lot of text. It's going to be horrible to update this test every time the PDF file changes, and we don't know how often the legal department is going to ask us to ...
