Disaster always strikes. The only problem is that you don’t know when it will strike. You could sit huddled in the center of your office day and night, but few people would consider that a good strategy. After all, what happens if you’re asleep when the disaster strikes? For that matter, what can you do about some disasters when they strike except ride them out? That’s why preparedness is so important.
