So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Resource capacity models
You can use one of the following resource capacity models in your environment:
- Consumed
- Allocation-based
- Demand-based
- Combination of models
The consumed model is based on the amount of physical resources that are allocated to the virtual machines. With the allocation-based model, a static amount of resources is allocated to an object, regardless of whether the object uses all of these resources.
With the demand-based model, resources are dynamically allocated to the object, based on the object’s demand.
