So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

For a long time, the MongoDB development community has created various database GUI clients to assist working with MongoDB. Many of these clients have very similar feature sets and focus on providing a GUI interface to manage your MongoDB databases and records. Recently, the MongoDB team has provided their own official GUI toolkit called MongoDB Compass. If you are interested in having a GUI client to manage your database in conjunction with the sections in this chapter, you can download and install the client from MongoDB's official download page, at no cost for developers:
