How to do it...

Let's follow these instructions to add a multipart/form-data file upload to our application so that we can add cover images to our blog posts:

1. First, we will create a new route configuration called /routes/api/images.js. This will contain all the configuration for uploading and storing references for our uploaded images in a simple images array:

2. We will continue to use jsonapi-serializer to serialize our uploaded objects so that we can consistently return JSON API responses to our API clients:
