You have seen in the previous chapters how metro Ethernet Layer 2 (L2) services can be deployed over an MPLS network. You also learned about the concept of pseudowires and label switched path (LSP) tunnels. The LSP tunnels are simply a means to tunnel the pseudowires from one end of the MPLS cloud to the other with the opportunity of aggregating multiple pseudowires within a single LSP tunnel.
