address – B800:0000, B800:1000, B800:2000 and so on. Only one page can be displayed at a

time which is called the active page, but it is possible to switch to other pages reasonably fast.

Note that when the screen resolution is less, more pages are possible (25 × 40 of modes 0 and 1

have 8 pages). For monochrome display, the video memory allocation starts from B000:0000. In
