To determine average fuel consumption:
1. In a worksheet, copy the data shown in cells A4:D12 in
Figure 14-1.
2. Select cells D5:D12.
3. Type the formula =C5/B5*100.
4. Press <Ctrl+Enter>.
5. Calculate the average consumption by selecting cell D15
and typing the formula =AVERAGE(D5:D12).
6. Press <Enter>.
