Chapter 3. Working with Notifications
Notifications in Power Automate allow you to receive email, push, or other notifications when certain events occur in your flows or other connected applications, keeping you informed about important events and tasks in your work. In most real-world situations, notifications play a crucial role within processes. Whether to stay informed about specific events and connected applications or to confirm the successful execution of critical actions or workflows, notifications are an integral component. They serve the dual purpose of keeping users in the loop about significant developments and ensuring the reliable completion of essential tasks.
Email Notifications
Email notifications are one of the most common types of notifications used in Power Automate. They allow you to keep track and stay on top of important tasks in your inbox. They also enable you to notify your team members of issues that must be addressed.
The possibilities for email notifications are nearly limitless, depending on your specific needs and scenarios. I will, however, present some common recipes to help you build a foundational understanding of the diverse possibilities.
